Poor Drawing

 United Nations 306

The stamp issued in 1979 has a number of drawing errors. The United Kingdom appears as one island. Mexico is anorexic. Denmark is a sort of land-bridge between Europe and the Scandinavian peninsula, turning the Baltic Sea, and the Gulfs of Bothnia and Finland into an inland sea. Greenland and northern Canada are connected, and there seems to be strip of land attached to the east coast of Greenland at the edge of the map. The islands of Cuba and Hispaniola are too large and are lined up pointing toward southeast. They are really lined up almost straight east and west. The island of Madagascar is too long.
