     Irvine and Seshold, Errors in Postage Stamp Design, p.81 describe the map on this stamp as "very inaccurate," without indicating the inaccuracies. The most serious inaccuracy is that the islands of Apolima and Manono are drawn as the same size when in reality Apolima is 5 km² and Manono is almost 8 km², and the distance between the two islands is 1.5 times the width of Manono while it appears to be a little less than the width of Manono. "Very inaccurate" is in the eye of the beholder.
