Newfoundland 145

The map of Newfoundland and Labrador was the design for the low value of the "Publicity Issue" of 1928. An error was made in the locations of Cape Bauld and Cape Norman which were reversed.

Newfoundland 163

In 1931 the series was re-engraved and the error was corrected. However, there is another error which was not corrected: the strait between Newfoundland and the mainland is called "Straits of Belle Isle," rather than "Strait of Belle Isle," which is correct.
